Bermondsey Private Rented House – Replace storage heaters, replace hot water cylinder.

The 30 year old storage heaters in this 1990’s maisonette were struggling to provide a days worth of heat.  The landlord wanted to keep with storage heaters so we recommended the impressive Dimplex Quantum’s.  We removed and disposed of the existing storage heaters in the photos.   We supplied and fitted 3 new storage heaters, this involved providing a permanent  electrical supply to go with the Econony 7 supply already in place.  The Quantums are industry leading storage heaters, they are really clever.

On the same installation day our plumber removed the indirect hot water system and cold water storage tank and installed direct unvented 150L cylinder and system.  This provided  the hot water this growing family needed and the increased pressure in the shower that they wanted.
